Ryan O’Connor is
a historian of the Canadian environmental movement. Having completed his PhD at
the University of Western Ontario, he currently holds a SSHRC Postdoctoral
Fellowship at Trent University. The author of the forthcoming monograph Toronto the Green: The Origins of Canada’s
Environmental Movement, O'Connor is also co-editor of a forthcoming collection on Canadian
environmentalism. He is a Research Associate of the Frost Centre for Canadian Studies
and Indigenous Studies at Trent University and an Associate Member of the Research Centre for Environmental History and Policy at the University of Sterling(Scotland).
